<p>There was that time your nephew accidentally deleted a month&#8217;s worth of photos. Or how about that time that your sister borrowed your camera and forgot to give it back?</p>
<p>To say the least, there are gaps in the photo timeline of your life.</p>
<p>That&#8217;s why we were pretty excited to hear about Pictarine! </p>
<p>It&#8217;s a web app that <strong>collects your photos from all the different places you&#8217;ve posted them on the web</strong> &#8212; Flickr, Picasa, Facebook, Instagram, Dropbox and lots more. It then <strong>turns them into a clean timeline that you can browse</strong>.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s even able to pull in photos your closest friends snapped, so you can see photos from the get-together that you didn&#8217;t get on camera.</p>
<p>We could tell you how nostalgic it&#8217;ll make you feel, but scrolling through your life in photo-form is something you&#8217;ll have to experience yourself. </p>

<p>The best kind of hacker? They&#8217;re the ones that take neat stuff apart to make <em>even neater</em> stuff. </p>
<p>&#8230;Like Stereographic Street View!</p>
<p>It&#8217;s an adapted version of Google&#8217;s Street View that turns any place on Earth* into a fish-eyed globe a.k.a. a <a href="http://content.photojojo.com/tutorials/create-your-own-panorama-planets/">tiny planet</a>! </p>
<p>Explore Earth by entering in an address or dragging the pin around the map. It&#8217;s wondrous to see what your home looks like as a its own little world!</p>
<p>You can spend <em>hours</em> wandering the planet wearing tiny-planet goggles. Don&#8217;t mind the funny looks.</p>
<p><small>*as long as it&#8217;s on Google Street View!</small></p>

<p>We offer up this thought: <em>use all of them</em>.</p>
<p>Pic Scatter turns an album of your photos into a photo collage. It&#8217;s just the right size and shape to fit your Timeline cover and will directly upload it for you, too!</p>
<p>Instead of hiding in an album, all of your favorite photos will be front and center right where they belong.</p>

<li><b><a href="http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/slit-scan-camera/id419292360?mt=8">Slit-Scan</a></b><br />
An unusual camera app that captures an image one chunk at a time from a moving horizontal position. Similar to dragging your hand across a photocopier.</li>
<p></p>
<li><b><a href="http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/decim8/id392720563?mt=8">Decim8</a></b><br />
The ultimate tool to glitch out, melt, and awesomify your photos!</li>
<p></p>
<li><strong><a href="http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/interlacer/id435346014?mt=8">Interlacer</a></strong><br />
A unique way to stitch together multiple images. Try running a photo through Decim8 multiple times, then merging them with Interlacer.</li>
<p></p>
<li><strong>Bonus!: <a href="http://sites.google.com/site/marclevoy/">SynthCam</a></strong><br />
Recreates the look of a narrow depth of field by taking dozens of shots of an object from slightly different perspectives and stitching them together. This app can be VERY tricky to use, but the results are often more interesting than your typical &#8220;tilt shift&#8221; app.</li>
</ol>
<p>Even extra bonus: <a href="http://www.docpop.org/2011/01/my-favorite-camera-apps-for-the-iphonehole/">Doc&#8217;s full list</a> of favorite iPhone apps.</p>
<h4><span>Grant Imahara</span></h4>

<p><b>What&#8217;d he say?</b>
<ol>
<li><b>iPhone camera</b><br />
Simple and to the point. Take a picture and then email it to Twitpic. Bam! It ends up on my feed. There are no other lenses or fancy exposure settings. It just takes pictures and that works fine for me.</li>
<p></p>
<li><b><a href="http://twitpic.com/">Twitpic</a></b> <small><b>[Android friendly!]</b></small><br />
It&#8217;s a workhorse. The pictures are emailed directly from my iPhone and the subject line becomes the caption. Twitpic automatically uploads to my feed. The interface is easy for people to navigate and comment on my photos (feedback is essential; helps me tailor my feed to what people like).</li>
<p></p>
<li>There is no number three. This is all I use. Period.</li>
</ol>
<h4><span>Noah Kalina</span></h4>
<p><a rel="lightbox[stepbystep]" href="http://content.photojojo.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/noah-lg.jpg"><img id="1" src="http://content.photojojo.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/noah-sm.jpg" alt="before" align="right" hspace="5" title="SO MANY KALINAS!" border="0"  /></a><b>Who&#8217;s <a href="http://everyday.noahkalina.com/">Noah</a>?</b> Photographic artist; has taken a self-portrait every day since 2000. Yes, really.</p>
<p><b>What&#8217;d he say?</b>
<ol>
<li><strong><a href="http://www.juicybitssoftware.com/3dcamera/">3D Camera</a></strong><br />
Because I love the wigglegram effect.</li>
<p></p>
<li><strong><a href="http://hipstamaticapp.com/">Hipstamatic</a></strong><br />
Because I like the options and the interface.</li>
<p></p>
<li><a href="http://everyday-app.com/"><strong>Everyday</strong></a><br />
Because it was inspired by my everyday project and I<br />
helped make it.</li>
</ol>
<h4><span>Kevin Meredith</span></h4>
<p><a rel="lightbox[stepbystep]" href="http://content.photojojo.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/lomokev-lg.jpg"><img id="1" src="http://content.photojojo.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/lomokev-sm.jpg" alt="before" title="Panograph pro" align="right" hspace="5" border="0"  /></a><b>Who&#8217;s <a href="http://lomokev.com">Kevin</a>?</b> Lomokev! Superbad photographer; author of <em>Hot Shots</em>, <em>Photo Op</em> and <em>Toy Cameras</em>.</p>
<p><b>What&#8217;d he say?</b> I have loads of photo apps but only use 3.</p>
<ol>
<li><b><a href="http://instagr.am/">Instagram</a></b><br />
Great for adding quick effects once your photo has been taken. It also has a built in mini social network which makes it easy to keep up with what your friends are doing visually.</li>
<p></p>
<li><strong><a href="http://hipstamaticapp.com/">Hipstamatic</a></strong><br />
Obvious but it&#8217;s still the king of the iPhone photo apps. It now has large selections of films, lenses and flashes which give you hundreds of different image combinations! I find it&#8217;s best to use the random feature by shaking the phone!</li>
<p></p>
<li><a href="http://everyday-app.com/"><strong>Everyday</strong></a><br />
There is no real instant gratification with it, as you have to use it for a few days before you see any result. It prompts you take a photo of yourself at regular intervals (I have mine set for 9am, 12pm and 9pm). </p>
<p>It has a handy grid feature so that all your photos line up and makes movies right on the phone. I have been using it for just over 2 mouths and only have <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/lomokev/5713332974">8<br />
seconds of footage</a>!</li>
</ol>
<h4><span>Chris Messina</span></h4>
<p><a rel="lightbox[stepbystep]" href="http://content.photojojo.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/chris-messina.jpg"><img id="1" src="http://content.photojojo.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/chris-messina-sm.jpg" alt="before" align="right" title="#hashtaginventor" hspace="5" border="0"  /></a><b>Who&#8217;s <a href="https://profiles.google.com/chris.messina/about">Chris</a>?</b> Open web advocate at Google; invented the #hashtag.</p>
<p><b>What&#8217;d he say?</b>
<ol>
<li><b><a href="http://instagr.am/">Instagram</a></b><br />
Kind of a &#8220;no duh&#8221; at this point. It clearly fills the role Flickr used to play &#8212; but on my iPhone. Crisp, clear interaction; no fuss, no muss.</li>
<p></p>
<li><strong><a href="http://eyeappsllc.com/Home.html">Pro HDR</a></strong> <small><b>[Android friendly!]</b></small><br />
Allows me to capture great shots in variable lighting conditions. Saves a lot of otherwise poorly lit shots from facing the wrath of my delete finger.</li>
<p></p>
<li><strong><a href="http://www.nevercenter.com/infinicam/">Infinicam</a></strong><br />
Instagram&#8217;s filters are great but sometimes redundant. Infinicam lets me play and experiment with an infinite set of filters.</li>
<p></p>
<li><strong>Bonus: <a href="http://www.juicybitssoftware.com/halftone/">Halftone</a></strong><br />
If I&#8217;m going to engage in fauxtography, I *must* have something that helps me produce cartoon-style content!</li>
</ol>
<h4><span>Amit Gupta</span></h4>
<p><a rel="lightbox[stepbystep]" href="http://content.photojojo.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/amit-lg.jpg"><img id="1" src="http://content.photojojo.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/amit-sm.jpg" alt="before" align="right" hspace="5" title="Photojojo inventor" border="0"  /></a><b>Who&#8217;s <a href="http://www.amitgupta.com/">Amit</a>?</b> Our very own Head Jojo, Amit&#8217;s the inventor of Photojojo, <a href="http://workatjelly.com/">Jelly</a>, and <a href="http://superamit.tumblr.com/post/4177374081/sandwich-pizza-lunch-today">amazing things</a> in general.</p>
<p><b>What&#8217;d he say?</b>
<ol>
<li><strong><a href="<a href="http://instagr.am/">Instagram</a></strong><br />
I realize I&#8217;m probably the 10th person to say this, but it&#8217;s the most-used photo app on my iPhone, by far. It&#8217;s simply what camera phones were made for.</li>
<p></p>
<li><strong><a href="http://modmyi.com/forums/iphone-news/692517-snappy-fastest-camera-app-available-take-pictures-any-app.html">Snappy</a></strong><br />
The fastest camera app on your phone. Swipe right on your status bar, from any app on your phone, and a camera instantly slides down. If you&#8217;ve missed shots because the camera app took too long to open, you need this. You will need to jailbreak your phone to use it. (Thx to <a href="http://tagsavage.tumblr.com/">Tag Savage</a> for the tip.)</li>
<p></p>
<li><strong><a href="http://www.juicybitssoftware.com/3dcamera/">3D Camera</a></strong><br />
Super simple app for making those &#8220;Wigglegram&#8221; 3D animated gif photos. Snap a photo, move a few inches to the right, snap another, and it&#8217;s done!</li>
<p></p>
<li>Honorable mention: <strong><a href="http://www.photoshop.com/products/mobile">PS Express</a></strong> <small><b>[Android friendly!]</b></small><br />
I&#8217;ve tried a bunch of image editing apps on the iPhone. For some reason, I keep coming back to Photoshop Express. It&#8217;s simple, quick, and gets the job done.</li>
</ol>
<h4><span>Paul Octavious</span></h4>
<p><a rel="lightbox[stepbystep]" href="http://content.photojojo.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/paul-lg.jpg"><img id="1" src="http://content.photojojo.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/paul-sm.jpg" alt="before" align="right" title="Love this guy" hspace="5" border="0"  /></a><b>Who&#8217;s <a href="http://www.pauloctavious.com/">Paul</a>?</b> Gorgeous lovely photographer. You might have noticed <a href="http://content.photojojo.com/photo-projects/same-hill-different-day-a-daily-photo-project/">we really like him</a>.</p>
<p><b>What&#8217;d he say?</b>
<ol>
<li><b><a href="http://instagr.am/">Instagram</a></b><br />
Gives me that excitement of a new relationship. I find it amazing how differently people are looking at objects &#038; angles that they wouldn&#8217;t have given a second look to. It is pretty amazing.</li>
<p></p>
<li><strong><a href="http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/slow-shutter/id340712897?mt=8">Slow Shutter</a></strong><br />
Lets you create long exposures. Flash Light + iPhone + Glif = Awesome Sauce
</li>
<p></p>
<li><strong><a href="http://www.occipital.com/360/">360 Panorama</a></strong><br />
Its kinda like the Spinner 360 camera but you perform a slow spin while holding your iPhone. Totes worth it!</li>
</ol>
<h4><span>Dane Sanders</span></h4>
<p><a rel="lightbox[stepbystep]" href="http://content.photojojo.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/dane.jpg"><img id="1" src="http://content.photojojo.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/dane-sm.jpg" alt="before" align="right" hspace="5" title="This guy knows his stuff" border="0"  /></a><b>Who&#8217;s <a href="http://danesanders.com/">Dane</a>?</b> Very pro photographer; author of 2 <em>Fast Track Photographer</em> books.</p>
<p><b>What&#8217;d he say?</b></p>
<ol>
<li><b><a href="http://instagr.am/">Instagram</a></b><br />
There were other great photo sharing apps before Instagram showed up on the scene but none quite got the experience right. Instagram felt more like a twitter did only instead of photos being an add-on, it was central. I like that.</li>
<p></p>
<li><strong><a href="http://eyeappsllc.com/Home.html">Pro HDR</a></strong> <small><b>[Android friendly!]</b></small><br />
I think HDR is just beginning and I love what it&#8217;s pointing to. When friends like Trey Ratcliff are creating epic HDR art, it&#8217;s tempting to tap out but apps like Pro HDR make making ghetto HDR pretty accessible and fun.</li>
<p></p>
<li><strong><a href="http://www.nexvio.com/product/8mm.aspx">8mm</a></strong><br />
I know it&#8217;s moving pictures but I really do dig the old school feel of the videos it makes. Awesome.</li>
</ol>
<h4><span>Kevin Systrom</span></h4>
<p><a rel="lightbox[stepbystep]" href="http://content.photojojo.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/kevin-lg.jpg"><img id="1" src="http://content.photojojo.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/kevin-sm.jpg" alt="before" title="Instagram 4 lyfe" align="right" hspace="5" border="0"  /></a><b>Who&#8217;s <a href="http://instagr.am/about/">Kevin</a>?</b> One of the smarties that founded Instagram.</p>
<p><b>What&#8217;d he say?</b>
<ol>
<li><strong><a href="http://www.dipticapp.com/">Diptic</a></strong><br />
I love stringing together a series of events in panels to post on Instagram. Best part? It&#8217;s already square format.</li>
<p></p>
<li><strong><a href="http://imimux.com/tiltshift/">TiltShift</a></strong><br />
I love playing with faux depth of field, contrast, saturation, etc. Makes my food pictures look even tastier</li>
<p></p>
<li><b><a href="http://instagr.am/">Instagram</a></b><br />
 Of course you didn&#8217;t think I wasn&#8217;t going to mention this right? 3.75 million users in 6 months. Love the community. It&#8217;s inspiring to see.</li>

<h4><span>1. View and manage your stream online</span></h4>
<p><a rel="lightbox[stepbystep]" href="http://content.photojojo.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/instagrid-lg.jpg"><img id="1" src="http://content.photojojo.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/instagrid.jpg" alt="before" align="right" hspace="5" border="0"  /></a>Viewing and navigating on your iPhone can be a little strenuous on the eyes and fingers. </p>
<p>So, wouldn&#8217;t it be amazing if you could see and even use Instagram on your computer?</p>
<p>Well, you can! These sites will give you super Instagramming abilities: </p>
<p><strong><a href="http://inkstagram.com/">Inkstagram</a></strong> is a web app that lets you use Instagram on your computer. Login, and you&#8217;ll be able to view the stream of Instagrammers you follow as well as your own stream in a neat grid. You can also <strong>follow new users</strong> and <strong>&#8220;like,&#8221; comment, and see deets</strong> on photos.</p>
<p><a href="http://instagre.at/"><strong>Instagreat</strong></a> similarly lets you view your streams as well as &#8220;like&#8221; photos. A <strong>side-scrolling viewer</strong> displays one photo from your stream at a time.</p>
<p><a href="http://instagrid.me/"><strong>Instagrid</strong></a> turns your Instagram stream into a <strong>web gallery that you can send out to friends</strong>. View your photos in a grid or a list, and share the link. The guys from Social Print Studio set this one up!</p>
<h4><span>2. Make Prints, Books or Stickers</span></h4>
<p><a rel="lightbox[stepbystep]" href="http://content.photojojo.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/instagoodies-lg.jpg"><img id="1" src="http://content.photojojo.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/instagoodies.jpg" alt="before" align="right" hspace="5" border="0"  /></a>It turns out you really can hold something intangible like a memory in your hand. These gadgets/sites will help you do just that.</p>
<p><a href="http://instaprint.me/"><strong>Instaprint</strong></a> is a magic device that <strong>might replace photobooths</strong> at parties. It uses hashtags to detect Instagram photos related to your event and prints them out right after they&#8217;re taken, kind of like a Polaroid camera! </p>
<p><a href="http://postagramapp.com/"><strong>Postagram</strong></a> lets you <strong>send a postcard</strong> of your favorite Instagram photos to family and friends. You can send a Postagram straight from your phone with a custom message. The recipient can even pop the photo out of the postcard for a square-shaped print that they can hang.</p>
<p><a href="http://stickygram.com/"><strong>Stickygram</strong></a> turns your Instagram photos of choice into <strong>a grid of magnets</strong>. You get to see your fave snaps every time you go for a chug of milk!</p>
<p><a href="http://www.artflakes.com/en/artsticker"><strong>Artflakes</strong></a> is a site that will <strong>make 4&#8243;x4&#8243; stickers</strong> of your Instagram photos. You can turn these into photo wall murals or stick them into a frame, a binder&#8230;or anywhere!</p>
<p><a href="http://instagoodies.com/"><strong>Instagoodies</strong></a> also makes <strong>stickers</strong>, but these guys come in <strong>adorable 1&#8243; squares</strong>. Stick them on postcards to friends, your iPhone, or anything else that could use some Instagram love. Also, you might appreciate that moo.com prints these up.</p>
<h4><span>3. View it on your iPad</span></h4>
<p><a rel="lightbox[stepbystep]" href="http://content.photojojo.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/instagallery-lg.jpg"><img id="1" src="http://content.photojojo.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/instagallery.jpg" alt="before" align="right" hspace="5" border="0"  /></a>Your iPad is basically your iPhone, enlarged. </p>
<p>Now, you can view your Instagram enlarged, too, and it&#8217;s <em>gorgeous</em>.</p>
<p><a href="http://itunes.apple.com/app/instagallery-for-ipad/id422065992?mt=8#"><strong>Instagallery</strong></a> is <strong>Instagram eye candy in the form of an iPad app</strong>. Not only can you view your streams and popular photos, but you can organize photos into sets and make slideshows. Plus, you can &#8220;like,&#8221; comment, and all that jazz.</p>
<p><a href="http://flipboard.com/"><strong>Flipboard</strong></a> is an iPad app that <strong>creates a &#8220;personal magazine&#8221;</strong> of info related to you and your friends. It pulls articles, photos, and updated streams from your favorite social networks for you to view all in one spot &#8212; and it now supports Instagram streams! We heard it&#8217;s lookin&#8217; good.</p>
<h4><span>4. Find Instagram photos by geography</span></h4>
<p><a rel="lightbox[stepbystep]" href="http://content.photojojo.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/cartagram-lg.jpg"><img id="1" src="http://content.photojojo.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/cartagram.jpg" alt="before" align="right" hspace="5" border="0"  /></a><a href="http://www.instabam.com/"><strong>Instabam</strong></a> is a web app that <strong>shows you Instagram photos taken near you</strong>. </p>
<p>This is awesome because there&#8217;s a good chance you&#8217;ll find photos of places and people you know. </p>
<p>It works best when used on mobile phones (since it detects your location).</p>
<p><a href="http://Cartagr.am"><strong>Cartagr.am</strong></a> shows you popular photos on an <strong>interactive map of the world</strong>! It&#8217;s pretty much what the world looks like in photo form. Isn&#8217;t it beautiful?</p>

<p>Frame your Instagram prints with <a href="http://hatchcraft.com/"><strong>Hatchcraft</strong></a>. They&#8217;ll not only print your Instagram photos, but they&#8217;ll <strong>frame them in handcrafted bamboo shadow boxes</strong> called Boo Boxes. Great for hanging on your wall or showing your phone photos off in a gallery or cafe.</p>
<p><a href="http://printstagr.am"><strong>Prinstagr.am</strong></a> <strong>turns your stream into a 20&#8243;x40&#8243; poster</strong>. They make a colorful grid of Instagram photos of your choice &#8211; an awesome way to make an instant photo wall. This one&#8217;s also from the guys at Social Print Studio.</p>
<p><a href="http://riothq.com/instatunes/"><strong>Instatunes</strong></a> brings the beauty of Instagram to your desktop. It&#8217;s a <strong>screensaver</strong> for OSX that live updates most popular photos on Instagram. Preview it at the link.</p>
<p><a href="http://instamaker.com/"><strong>Instamaker</strong></a> = Zazzle for Instagrammers. You can turn your Instagram <strong>pics into t-shirts, mugs, and postcards</strong>, and it&#8217;s pretty easy since everything&#8217;s drag and drop. <p><a href="http://teenytile.com"><strong>TeenyTile</strong></a> turns your Instagram photos <strong>into 2&#8243;x2&#8243; tiles</strong>. You can make a fancy mini photo mural, jewelry, or add included magnetic strips to turn them into magnets. <h4><span>6. Search by keyword</span></h4>
<p><a rel="lightbox[stepbystep]" href="http://content.photojojo.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/snapfinch-lg.jpg"><img id="1" src="http://content.photojojo.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/snapfinch.jpg" alt="before" align="right" hspace="5" border="0"  /></a><a href="http://snapfinch.com/"><strong>Snapfinch</strong></a> is a handy site where you can search photos posted to social networks based on keywords or tags. </p>
<p>They recently added Instagram to their pool of networks, so you can <strong>find Instagrams based on topic</strong>. </p>
<p>Another neat feature is a widget that you can add to your site to show off your Instagram snaps in real-time. </p>
<h4><span>7. View photos of instagrammed cats or dogs</span></h4>
<p><a  rel="lightbox[stepbystep]" href="http://content.photojojo.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/nekostagram-lg1.jpg"><img id="1" src="http://content.photojojo.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/nekostagram.jpg" alt="before" align="right" hspace="5" border="0"  /></a><a href="http://instakitty.com/"><strong>InstaKitty</strong></a> and <a href="http://nekostagram.heroku.com/"><strong>Nekostagram</strong></a> are sites for cat-loving Instagram fans. </p>
<p>View <strong>a stream entirely dedicated to Instagram photos of cats</strong>. We promise you won&#8217;t regret it.</p>
<p>Hate cats, love dogs? Then <a href="http://instapuppy.com/"><strong>InstaPuppy</strong></a> and <a href="http://inustagram.heroku.com/"><strong>Inustagram</strong></a> are the sites for you. These <strong>streams are exclusively of Instagrammed dogs</strong>. (Insanely) A-DORBS.</p>
<h4><span>8. Browse Instagram Users&#8217; Flickr accounts</span></h4>
<p><a rel="lightbox[stepbystep]" href="http://content.photojojo.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/gramjunction-lg.jpg"><img id="1" src="http://content.photojojo.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/gramjunction.jpg" alt="before" align="right" hspace="5" border="0"  /></a><a href="http://www.gramjunction.com/"><strong>Gramjunction</strong></a> <strong>links Instagram photos to Flickr accounts</strong>. </p>
<p>Browse through a collection of Instagram photos, and click on any of them to be taken to their Flickr account. </p>
<p>There, you can view more photos by that Instagrammer, and hey, you might even catch some of their non-camera-phone photos!</p>
<h4><span>9. Be the Judge</span></h4>
<p><a rel="lightbox[stepbystep]" href="http://content.photojojo.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/picafight-lg.jpg"><img id="1" src="http://content.photojojo.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/picafight.jpg" alt="before" align="right" hspace="5" border="0"  /></a>Because being the judge of things is pretty fun, here are a two sites that let you <strong>rate between two Instagram photos</strong>. </p>
<p>We actually found some new favorite Instagrammers through these sites!</p>
<p><a href="http://www.picafight.com/"><strong>Pic a Fight</strong></a> is clean and simple: pick your favorite photo or skip to the next two.</p>
<p><a href="http://instawar.org/"><strong>Instawar</strong></a> also features dueling Instagram photos. It adds one fun feature in which you can click a button to &#8220;make a pair.&#8221; </p>
<p>If you see two photos that go particularly well together, you can turn them into a diptych by doing so.</p>
<h4><span>10. Meet other instagrammers in REAL LIFE</span></h4>
<p><a rel="lightbox[stepbystep]" href="http://content.photojojo.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/instameet-lg.jpg"><img id="1" src="http://content.photojojo.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/instameet.jpg" alt="before" align="right" hspace="5" border="0"  /></a>Did you know on the other side of those pretty square photos are real life people? </p>
<p>You can meet them all via <a href="http://www.meetup.com/instagram/">InstaMeet</a>, <strong>monthly Meetups set up in over 300 cities around the world</strong>. Meet your favorite Instagrammers or meet new ones and nerd-out over phoneography.</p>
<p>We met some rad Instagrammers at Worldwide InstaMeet last week!</p>

<p>Last week, Alexandre Oudin elevated the lowly Facebook profile picture to art form.</p>
<p>When we linked to his <a href="http://tumblr.photojojo.com/post/2195625035/now-thats-how-you-a-do-a-profile-picture-bravo">clever use of the new Facebook profile</a> layout on our Tumblr, it was only minutes before you&#8217;d <a href="http://tumblr.photojojo.com/post/2197537296/check-it-out-miachel-saw-our-last-post-and-made">made your own</a>.</p>
<p>And what took precision pixel-pushing 7 days ago (our pal Taylor made <a href="http://go.gtmcknight.com/post/2321304402/hacking-facebooks-new-profiles">a handy Photoshop template</a> if you wanna DIY) is now only 30 seconds of work, thanks to Pic Scatter.</p>
<p>Upload a photo, line it up just right, hit publish, and your fancy Facebook pic is prime for poking.</p>

<p>Garrett Murray, like us, spends quite some time in Photoshop.</p>
<p>Which means that every so often, more often than he&#8217;d like, Photoshop crashes. And he&#8217;s presented with this window asking for details.</p>
<p>Unlike us, he obliges:</p>
<blockquote><p>
<em>Crashed on quit again. I&#8217;m confused by this. Why would quitting the app cause a crash so frequently? This would be like if you worked in an office from 9-5 and every day at 4:59PM you became filled with rage and ran around throwing chairs and breaking windows. Then you went home and came back the next day acting like nothing happened. Only a psychopath would do this.</p>
<p>You&#8217;d think quitting, of all things, would be the easiest action Photoshop could do. Hell, it&#8217;s not even an action. Photoshop just needs to give up. I see it giving up all the time half-way through important work, why can&#8217;t it do it when I hit CMD+Q?</p>
<p>Oh, crap, I&#8217;ll have to fill you in on more details later, it&#8217;s 4:58PM and I have to get ready to throw my chair through the window in a minute.<br />
</em>
</p></blockquote>
<p>Don&#8217;t miss the rest of his collection. (And for more Photoshop chuckles, an oldie but goodie: <a href="http://content.photojojo.com/tips/photoshop-tips-video/">101 Photoshop Tips in 5 min</a>.)</p>

<p>We <3 Flickr.</p>
<p>We use it to share our pics (obvi), learn how to take better ones, and even make new friends.</p>
<p>But you know what we've always wanted? <strong> A way to see everything our friends are doing on Flickr</strong>. Flickr omniscience, if you will.</p>
<p>Thanks to three curiously clever new websites, you now can.</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Contacts Who Have Faved</strong> shows all the photos that your friends have favorited on Flickr recently</li>
<li><strong>Flickr Chatterbox</strong> reveals which of your friends&#8217; photos got comments recently (even if you haven&#8217;t faved or commented on &#8216;em)</li>
<li><strong>Docent</strong> shows you all the galleries your buds have made recently</li>

<p>Together, it&#8217;s sorta like having the Facebook newsfeed, for Flickr!</p>

<p>We&#8217;ve been taking regular old flat photos for years, but lately we&#8217;ve heard rumors about a so-called &#8220;third dimension.&#8221;</p>
<p>A new site called Start3D takes a baby step towards your own personal Holodeck, popping 3D life into 2D shots &#8212; with no crossed eyes or funky frames!</p>
<p>Start by taking two photos side-by-side, a left and a right version to match each eye.</p>
<p>Then Start3D waves its magic hands, and shazam! The images blossom into a wiggling animation, sliding smoothly from left to right like it&#8217;s right there in front of you for reals.</p>
<p>Welcome to the third dimension! You&#8217;ll love it here. Be sure to check out that long flat thing that we call &#8220;the horizon.&#8221;</p>
